The Rogues Ventures

About us

Why Rogue?

Going Rogue ->exhibiting maverick-like behavior, or bucking the status quo -Meriam Webster

Rogue : a person, organization, or country that does not behave in the usual or acceptable way -Cambridge English Dictionary

We examine your problems, your questions, your need for a solution ... your puzzle. Then we craft a customized solution to your problem. Which might sound pretty standard, but we may have more of an understanding of your unique needs than a larger firm, and that personal touch is not the usual way of doing business.

You are not alone

What are we about? Well we believe that nothing is impossible, only varying levels of improbability. Given enough time and effort anything is possible. Do we believe that WE can do anything? No. Although we do believe that we can do anything that we have specialized in and honed our skills for. We are good at what we do but we do not pretend to do it all, or do it all alone. If we are not doing it all alone, you should not either. The pluralization of Rogue --> "Rogues" is meant to include our customers as well as us, both going on these adventures into the unknown together.

The solution is out there

We do what we can for the community. That's our slogan, but what exactly does that mean? It means that we are going to do what we can, not everything for the community. If we did everything for the community that would not be a community, but something else entirely. Also, the areas of expertise that we are not practiced in would suffer, inferior products and bad experiences all around. Which is why we do not offer services that a member of our team could not provide quality services for. WE do what WE can. Unlike several other companies out there we acknowledge that we have limits, and recognize that we might not be the best fit for everyone. We would possibly refer you to someone else that would be a better fit for your solution. That is what we believe that a community is all about, helping each other in a way that benefits someone you've never met. An example would be building you a great website, someone new finds your website and is so happy with your services that they become a frequent customer. We would more than likely never meet that frequent customer, but we recognize that they are still a part of our community.

What we do in the shadows

We like to take puzzles and solve them. Whether it is coming up new solutions to a new problem, or applying a method that has been proven to work before we like to solve problems. As one of our customers we would include you in the creative process ...

I. Observation

Asking what you want, and actually listening to your needs rather than trying to sell you something that you don't need. Trying to picture the end goal.

II. Research

Do some research into your puzzle, and see what might be the best solution for your problem. We may have already done research into a similar puzzle before, so we might be able to offer you an immediate idea.

III. Form Hypothesis

Present the idea, all of the parameters, time frame, and anything that we might need from you. This is our hypothesis of what should fix your puzzle.

IV. Test hypothesis

Implement what we think our solution is.

V. Record Data

Get feedback from you about our solution. Make any minor changes that would further fine tune your solution. This would also involve testing our solution within a test environment to make sure everything works to your specifications, and is the easiest and most convenient solution that works for your needs. Tailoring the solution to you, and your business.

VI. Draw Conclusion

Move the solution into production. Test our solution in real world situations, by putting it into the real world. If anything needs to be changed within the first month of production, let us know and we can change that as soon as possible. We understand that while we may have predicted several things, sometimes there is something that no one on the project anticipated. These things happen when they are applied to the real world, so we have a grace period to correct these issues if they arise.

VII. Replicate

If you liked working with us, keep us in mind for future projects and tell your friends.
